Estonia’s Top Young Disc Golfers Competed in the Rakvere SNÄKKpro Youth Series
5. June 2025This year, Rakvere signed a cooperation agreement with the Estonian Disc Golf Association, stepping in as the main sponsor of the national youth disc golf series. The preliminary rounds of the competition began in April, with tournaments held across 12 counties, culminating in a lively final event on May 22, 2025, at the Roosi Disc Golf Park in Tartu.
According to Anu Redi, Marketing Manager at Maag Estonia, discgolf is a growing and widely accessible sport that fits the Rakvere brand perfectly.
“Our goal was primarily to support youth activity. By investing in youth sports, we demonstrate that Rakvere cares about the community and supports an active lifestyle — something that’s increasingly important to consumers. Disc golfers are typically health-conscious and active individuals — exactly the audience that SNÄKKpro meat snacks are made for. Sports events offer an ideal opportunity to reach this target group directly and naturally.”

Rakvere supported the SNÄKKpro youth series by providing prizes, branded shirts for all participants, and financial contributions that covered the organizational costs of the tournament.
“Since we launched our new snack sub-brand, Rakvere SNÄKKpro, this partnership gave us valuable visibility. The competition series offers both visual and emotional contact: the brand is present at the events through advertising, tastings, and prizes. Young people and their parents associate positive experiences, achievements, joy, and a sense of community with the supporting brand,” Anu explained. At present, the cooperation agreement between Rakvere and the Estonian Disc Golf Association is for one season, but an extension is certainly being considered.
Hristo Neiland, Secretary General of the Estonian Disc Golf Association, commented that Rakvere’s support was crucial, enabling the series to offer a high-quality and well-organized competition specifically designed to be accessible and exciting for young players. “Thanks to Rakvere’s support, participation in the entire series was completely free for all young athletes — something especially important in youth sports. The funding also helped cover organizational costs, produce SNÄKKpro t-shirts for players, and offer raffle prizes. These small details create experiences that stay with young people, foster a sense of belonging, and increase the likelihood they’ll continue playing disc golf long-term. It also contributes to the overall development of youth sports and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.” Neiland praised the collaboration with Rakvere as highly professional, smooth, and supportive. “It’s clear the company understands the value of supporting youth and sports, and trusts our vision and capability to bring it to life. We greatly appreciated that Rakvere wasn’t just a sponsor on paper — they were truly part of the series’ identity. It was especially rewarding to work with a team that was open and responsive throughout the process. This kind of partnership lays a strong foundation for future joint projects.”

This year, the SNÄKKpro youth series saw the most players in the middle school boys division, with incredibly close competition throughout.
