Meaty oven sausage

Our Lihakas oven sausage is a true meat lover’s favorite, containing a remarkable 80% Estonian pork. Encased in natural pork casing, this oven sausage cooks up juicy with a delightfully crispy casing. For the best results, bake in a hot oven, placing the sausages on a baking tray with enough space between them to allow maximum heat circulation.

Ingredients

pork 80%, water, lard, onion, salt, spices, dextrose, black pepper, garlic, parsley, flavorings, pork intestine.

May contain small amounts of mustard, soy, egg, wheat and milk.

Preparation

Remove the package and brush some oil on the raw sausages.

In the oven: bake in a preheated oven on the fan program at 180 °C for approx. 20 minutes.

In a hot air fryer: cook at 180 °C for 20 minutes.

Pan: add a little oil to a preheated pan over medium heat, then add the raw sausages. Fry the raw sausages, turning them time to time for 10-15 minutes so that the sausages are evenly golden brown.

On the grill: the coals are ready when there is no more flame and you can hold your hand above the grill grate at a height of 10 cm without burning yourself for 3-4 seconds. Cook the raw sausages on the grill for 8-10 minutes so that the sausages are evenly golden brown.

NB! Heat sausages until internal temperature has reached 72 °C.
